The Social Cooperative Amico from Almese, also supported by the Magnetto Foundation, lives thanks to the daily choice of some people who, by putting their time and professionalism at the service of others, especially the poorest, allow many to find a job in a context, such as the current one, in which precariousness prevails. Today, the core of the cooperative is represented by : about twenty working members, 6 employees, 3 volunteer members and 2 subsidizing members; the percentage of disadvantaged people is around 40% of the total number of working members.
The services provided by the Cooperative are numerous, from the production and sale of honey, to pruning, to the sale of wood, to the maintenance of green areas, and so on.
